INDOFAST ENERGY
Battery Swap Process & Safety Films
Transforming a complex technical protocol into an intuitive, multilingual guide for India’s gig workforce.
Operational Competence Module (English)
The Challenge: The Illusion of Simplicity
Indofast Energy provides Battery-as-a-Service for electric two-wheelers. On the surface, battery swapping looks easy. In reality, the process is ridden with "Invisible Failures."
A failed swap means a delivery rider loses time and money. Our task was to make these hidden complexities visible and avoidable.
Project Scope
- Reverse-engineering the SOP
- Multilingual Scripting (Colloquial)
- UI/UX Screen Mapping
- VFX & AI Enhancement
Our Methodology
"We wrote the missing manual."
Field Immersion
We physically tested the station and observed real riders to find the "invisible" error states.
Systems Mapping
Mapping every UI error code to a specific visual cue in the video for zero-ambiguity training.
Visual Engineering
Using AI to simulate safety hazards and VFX to overlay digital UI onto physical footage.
The Logic Layer
How we turned a 20-page technical manual into a 2-minute visual guide.

Generative Safety Simulation
We used Generative AI to create hyper-realistic "damaged" textures—dents, leaks, and corrosion—to train riders on rejection protocols without safety risks.

Visualizing Safety
The "Do's and Don'ts" film uses clear Green/Red VFX overlays to create instant visual recognition.
This allows users to understand safety protocols even without audio in loud environments.
Regional Language Rollout
The final system was adapted into multiple regional-language versions to support operational clarity across distributed field teams and battery swap stations.
